Lodge Lake was fished for the first time by F Troop. 14 signed on and 14
turned out, bloody marvelous!!! I must keep on bulling, it seems
to get results.
The day was overcast but quite warm for November The lads were in good form,
it was noted our guest Trevor Stark had warts on the palms of his hands, so he
was christened ??!!!
Everyone early so the the draw was made at 08-45 and agreed start to the
sound of the horn at 09-45 finishing at 15-00. From the
off Danny was catching on peg 68 and George on 69 was calling him names
his mother never called him. I drew peg 55, a short walk and
great shortage of fish. On my left our treasure Tony had a
blank day and to my right Roge Coombs, on 118 had his first inquiry at 14-30, with
one large carp at the end.
The fishing got better and some pulled in good fish.
For a change no casualties or breakages to report.
