The HLS crew were at the fantastic trinity waters today and
with 17 booked in Tony decided to pay the top 3 in each carp and silvers so all
to play for ..so after i paid my pools and a chat i with the boys it was into the bucket of
dream and i pulled out peg 17 ...i was a happy boy!!! And just do what my
fishing shrink suggested ...”all you had to do is put all the bad weeks behind you
and just get your head down and get on
with it” ...ha no such luck.... anyway i had Brian (hmrc baits) on 19 and Eric
on 15 .. so i set up a3 rigs and a bomb and pellet (never used) 1 rig for
silvers (never used) one rig for hard pellet and 1 shallow rig ...
I won’t bore you all but i had a great start catching 6
lumps in the first 2.5 hours and then got my elastic snapped under peg 16 and that’s
when i packed up and went and sat with lord C (Octopussy baits) as i sat there i could see that Paul (Paxo baits) on peg 30 and
George( best silvers angler in the club) on peg 32 were getting a silver fish a chuck ...
Overall winners were :

So some greats weights today for both silvers and carp
