10 of the "F"
for fish troop lined the lake on a sunny day but with an easterly
wind. Fletch had drawn peg 1 which is a carp peg, but as he is known to say, "I'm not moaning"!
Everyone struggled from
the start, but fish were caught, and the match weights were fairly even.
Danny managed 7lbs 8ozs to win the silvers off peg 4, fishing next to Roger
Coombs who s 2nd overall on peg 3 with 35lbs 6ozs .
I was fishing peg 15
next to Pete Cooke on peg 14, Pete did his best with his "Robot Duck"
ruining my swim, but Chair Bob prevailed with top overall weight of 42lbs
8ozs .
It was an enjoyable day
with plenty of chat, thanks to Shipate Fisheries for their welcome and
looking after us.
Next Wednesday we tackle
Sedges Brick Lake, until then Chair Bob.
