Shaun,
Here is what we wrote.
“We are now into our second match of the 6 match Silvers league. The first was at Shiplate with anticipation running high as previous matches were recording 50-40-30 pound weights but on the day we were faced with a bitter North East wind which pushed the weights down to 13-10 for Rob who won on the day and the rest of the wights were pretty low. Disappointing with this being one of the best venues on our circuit.
This week we fished Trinity. During setting up the weather was fine, but as soon as the whistle went the heavens opened and it stayed like that all day. R. Coles was top weight with 16-7 of good skimmers all caught on the tip with worm. Well done mate.
After 2 matches the standings are still very close with all to play for. Good luck boys on the next match at Avalon.”
Regards
