We fished at Sedges Tile this Sunday, seventeen turned out on what
was another cold morning. Bill Parker came along to help with the
monetary things, and Horny did the pegging bit. The business was
completed and we went for the draw. Martin and myself drew the Golden
Pegs numbers 21 and 39.
Horny tooted and we were all in, but nothing much
happened. After an hour our new member Alan started catching some
silvers on peg 38, and Bend It got busy with the carp on 40. I had
a very exciting day, amassing the great total of 11ozs of whitebait! On
my left Bend It, fishing the waggler, with a 2lb line straight through, caught
53lbs 11ozs for first overall, this included a carp weighing 19lbs 8ozs; well
done that man!
On my right, Alan won the silvers, with a hard earned 3lbs 10ozs,
which beat Danny by ounces. The full results are below.
