12.07.2020 - Avalon Fisheries

Today's gathering was at the popular Avalon Fisheries fishing on the roadside bank for a change. lake. The weather was warm and sunny so fishing may prove a little difficult for some; however it beats the blustery weather of last week.

The draw was done on Friday evening with the lake being fully booked again with 19 anglers fishing and everyone had arrived within time and managed to get set up nice and early.

It must have een a hard pill to swallow for George being sat next to Tungsten Dave and watching him swing in thsoe silvers all afternoon and to finish him off losing his pound to Danny. Hell be back for revenge next week. Well done Dave who is showing a fine run of form over the past few weeks. Well done to Bob and Colin also in the frame this week.

Steve Warren is another on form with the overall weight for the day in a somewhat snaggy peg and another £1 from his mate Mr Wolstencroft. Mr Consistant - Steve King is still bagging most weeks and yet another top 3 finsish Well done to everyone who attended today.

Next week we are at Summerhayes on the Longs Lake, please contact Steve to book your place by Wednesday evening at the latest. Please remember that we have to finalise numbers with the fishery owner by the Thursday so early booking is essential.
