Return to match fishing

This week the club has been given the green light to commence match fishing; however these will be under strict rules which will be enforced by the fishery owners and the club.

Matches are to recommence from Sunday 31st May under the following guidelines which all members are asked to abide by for the good of the Club, individual fisheries and the sport as a whole.

The venue for this weeks match is Chilton Trininty - Woodlands Lake

1. Members wishing to fish must contact Steve Warren direct. No booking in for others and no turing up without booking in.

2. All members to follow any individual fishery rules that apply

3. Hand sanitiser is compulsory. No sanitiser no entry to match

4. Social distancing at all times with no gathering in the car park before or after the competition

5. All members to have the correct entry fee. No change will be given on the day. Fees to be paid by
8:30 with match to be 10am - 4pm

6. The draw will be conducted by the Match Secretary before the match with another committee member  in attendance via facetime. On payment of your entry fee, anglers are to proceed direct to their peg.

7. Only two designated members will complete the weigh in where again social distancing will apply. The scalesman will set the scales, he will step away and  the angler will then be asked to tip his catch in to the weigh net. The angler steps away and the scalesman will then call the weight and fish are returned to the water. The other member will record the weights.

8. Once weighed in the angler should make their way back to their car. No following the scales

9. Results will be published via the blog and any winnings will be given the following week

10. Any member not following the above will be disqualified

Please help us to help you so that we can all continue to fish during these unprecedented times

Thank You
HLS Committee
