12 anglers
turned out for what became a very productive venue fish-wise. Steve King
won overall with 164lbs (peg 1) just 6lbs short of the lake match record, Steve Meker (peg 11), 2nd with 113lbs 4ozs.

Bob (peg 13A) won the Silvers with 52lbs 2oz , Eric Searle (peg 14B) 2nd with 35lbs.
It
was good to see members wearing the new hoodies with club identification ,
Quite smart!!!!
I will just mention some bad language by 'Bolton Boy' George
when he lost an argument with the largest carp (HE SAID) in the lake shattering
his top sections.
