19 Anglers turned out on
a cold misty morning. After the draw not even George was complaining,
amazing!!! Phil on his usual high blew the horn for the tee off, and business began. My peg was 32 , it was two small roach then my ever present carp
, but gradually I built a reasonable weight.
At the other end and
side of the lake, Steve (the Kingfisher) and Martin were catching steadily, and
looking good, and so it turned out.
The other matter of
interest, was the appearance of a pole in the water beside Danny, Danny's
comment was "its not sinking, so I carried on fishing" It
turned out to belong to another angler fishing on the lake behind him, and was returned safely.
