Sunday 2nd April 2017 - Avalon Fisheries

24 of the lads arrived on a fine morning, which turned out to be a warm sunny day.  I took the money today, giving Treasure a bit of a break as you can see by the results.

Vic sorted out the pegs to be fished, and the two Golden Pegs, which were 24 and 32, then it was time for the draw.  I drew what is usually a good peg number 20, with Pete the Chef on the right,  and Horny to the left, so off we went.

Horny tooted and we all had high expectations.   Horny was into a carp within minutes, but not for Pete and myself, we had a bad day struggling for bites, we both were DNW.

There was plenty of banter around the lake, even though quite a few were struggling.    George on peg seven won the silvers with 18lbs 3ozs, with Treasure on the unfancied peg number one, won overall with 50lbs.   The full results are below.

Next Wednesday and Sunday it's Emeralds

                                             Keep ringing
